One of my 'test' albums is Steely Dan's "Aja." I was astonished at how much more of the subtleties of the music I could hear at highway speeds in my AWD-Tech vs. my '05 RL over the same highway at the same speeds. (I was playing it from my iPhone via Bluetooth in the MDX, from audio DVD in the RL, btw.)

A lot of that improvement is probably the superior soundproofing of the 3G MDX, but I find the Tech's sound system more than adequate. I'm hardly a hard-core audiophile, however.

The thing with music is that almost no one has the exact same genre selection.
There are many that people have in common, but there's always a few that are distinct to them.

I listen to the followings. They sound damn good in the TSX, I wonder what ELS and Krell sound like.. ?

All of Hotel California, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty & the Heart Breakers, Robert Plant, Gerry Rafferty, Stevie Nicks/ Fleetwood Mac, Ted Nugent, Red Rider, Joe Walsh, Bob Seger, John Waite, The Alan Parsons Project, Robert John, Phil Collins, Eagles, George Micheal and then I go through a lot of the early 90's-mid 2000's country, 90's Alternative, 90's-2000's hip hop, some rap and R&B, ect ect, then I'll listen to the new stuff once or twice before going back to the good stuff.

I'm pretty dynamic but I like the oldie's the best haha. So unusual for one of my age in this time.

I can tell you that Rumours and Hotel California on DVD-Audio sound heavenly. It is like a reference sound studio that happens to drive very well.
