I have been experiencing a problem where the MDX keys will not work (won't unlock door using the button on the door) even if I am right next to the car when they are in the same pocket as my iPhone4s. It seems like there is direct interference. I also have BT enabled on my iPhone. As soon as I take the key out of proximity to iPhone, everything works fine

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? What phone?

I have used similar systems from Infiniti and others and never had a problem.

^^ i have not heard of this one before. As an additional data point, I keep my ILX key in my left pocket and wear my iPhone 4S in a holster on my right hip. No problems to report.

 

First time hearing of this...I will have to experiment this weekend!

 

Interestingly, I just had a client with an RLX ask me about keyless access range. I suggested that she try to use the second remote and see if it performed any differently and if that didn't work, consider changing the battery in the remote control.

I am also going to suggest that she check the proximity of her phone (in the purse) to her remotes (also in her purse).
