Leaking suspension

Pretty sure my front struts leaking. Anyone seen this issue before ? Was before I washed the car. Look like fluid and not water. I only notice it while I swap my snow tires out.

Yes, the strut is leaking. Go to the dealership quick before the warranty expires.

Thanks.. I have acura care, need to find original contract, looks like it is covered, not under exclusion. My seat motor is fked also (clicks massively when moving).. made out like bandit with acura care on all my acuras.. Looks like this one is no different. I had over 6k repair on my tsx that was covered under acura care.

Our right front strut leaked around 60k miles and was replaced under the CPO warranty.

You should check the fine prints on your Acura Care agreement.

Up here in Canada, factory extended warranty does not cover leaky struts, and I learnt that the hard way and had to replace them out of my own pocket for my TL.

This is what's listed for suspension. Im wondering if they'll blame something else. Also going in for my seat, it clicks like its stuck on adjustment

Going in wed, If its not covered, I guess worse case, Ill do it myself. Just did the ST coils on the bmw last weekend. Looks easy enough.. prob just need a few slightly bigger size sockets.

Visual inspection during a snow tire swap, there weren’t any other symptoms yet. On our previous RX I separately found a water pump leak and a steering rack leak while swapping tires. Definitely a good opportunity for a twice a year visual inspection to catch problems before they turn into breakdowns.

Got the car in today. I had some torn bushing in that area also, not sure from what. Basically if the bushing/control arm needs to be replace, a wheel alignment is required also. All that is cover under acura care. I have the $100 deductible plan (I think).

My seat motor is also broken, that is ordered and coming another day.

Interesting.. they end up replacing both lower front arm. I thought only the side with suspension issue. I thought I had a $100 deductible, turns out I had non.. No charge out of pocket. He said it was about 1500 worth of work.. I estimate part price off internet.
strut - 250
control arm 300 (150/each)
alignment ~ 200
750 + ~5hr labor. (nyc rate ~ 125/hr)
750 + 625
