HDD question

Has anyone recorded CD's onto their HDD? The manual refers to a 4x record speed, but I have not found a way to record a CD without listening to the whole disc at 1x. When I change the audio source to listen to something else, the HDD recording of the CD stops.

I would prefer not to have to listen to several hundred CD's just to get them onto the HDD.

Yes, I'm having the same issue, I know the "wav" files on a raw audio CD are large but it takes forever to get them on the hard drive, it's not a quick process as I expected, or as quick as converting them to mp3 on a computer is. I hope someone has some tips on how to do this quickly, because I'm having the same results as mentioned above.

I realize that this may not help you but my 2010 records at approx. 4X and I can change the listening source without the HDD rec interruption.
They must have "fixed" it on its way from Ontario to Alabama!
