Do the Hybrids have auto adjusting headlights.

I'm finding new things about my MDX Hybrid everyday.
I noticed that the Hybrid appears to have self adjusting headlights that I did not see in the other models.

I wonder if it is activated? I have auto adjust HIDs on my 11 MDX ADV for towing at max 500 tongue/5000lbs and/or heavy load in the rear sags the rear suspension. Maybe it isn't active since the hybrid isn't rated for towing?

I never noted any light leveling neither on my 2013 or 2019 MDX; both Techs.
My wife’s Volvo not only adjusts the height, but the lights also turn left and right as you turn. Super cool.

I think only the 10-13 MDX Adv had the height adjustable HIDs.

I've noticed the LEDs are sometimes too bright with a sharp cut-off forward and side illumination when it is really dark with no other lights around. The super bright LEDs create a bigger contrast to almost make the non-illuminated area look like a black hole. I don't get the bleed over for seeing side roads like I do with my 11 MDX HIDs. Having LED fogs help a little bit; but, left/right turning headlights in the Volvo would help more.

I don't know Mrgold. If find it interesting that this part is only on Hybrids and no other model and specifically the MDX with the 7 speed DCT. I'm disagreeing with you but it's kind of weird it there and only the hybrid. Acura makes no note of this in their literature. I'm not sure I've noticed it it's operation. But it begs the question why would they put in only on the hybrid?

I crawled under the MDX this morning and took a pic of the part in question and it is on the car. It looks to me like it may monitor the suspension movement.

While I was poking around I notice there is no serpentine drive belt and thus no belt drive accessories like water pump or alternator. They must be mounted and powered differently and located somewhere else.

Regular MDXs in Canada have available auto-leveling headlamps. I really wish ours had it! See the halfway down this screenshot of the acura.ca website:
