i recently traded in my 2014 rdx for the 2014 mdx and want the same type of cargo net offered in the Rdx. it was nice to be able to just slide something under the web and it would stay in place, and when i had anything heavy i could just put it on top without having to work around the net or take it down.
does anyone know if the rdx net will work with the mdx? or of any aftermarket solutions?

how do you keep things from moving around back there?
i had the same type of cargo net currently offered on this mdx in one of my other vehicles. Not a fan...

 

I ordered a Universal Fit Trunk Cargo Net for Acura MDX NSX RDX RL RSX SLX TL TSX ZDX net from Amazon for $23. I mainly want it to keep groceries from rolling around in the back during driving. It is not shown in the picture on Amazon; but, the cargo net sent has an elastic band in the middle with a loop at both ends; if you want to install the cargo net upright. You just have to move the plastic clips from the end to the middle loops.


I also purchased GOGO 24 PCS Aluminum Locking D-shaped Carabiners in Assorted Colors, $22

I have cargo nets in the back of all three vehicles and it is a pain in the butt to unclip if I need to move the cargo nets (check spare tire, put up 3rd row seat, access under floor storage, move out of way because of cargo, etc...). These carabiners are perfect because it is so easy to clip and unclip from the tie downs compared to the cheap plastic clips on the cargo nets.

 

does the oem net stand up and lay down flat like the one you posted from amazon?

 

I have an 11 MDX and I have both OEM and the aftermarket net in the back of my MDX. I'm not sure if the 07-13 MDX cargo net is the same as the +14 OEM cargo net. I have the option to use the OEM cargo net flat or upright. The OEM cargo mat is a little smaller in size and you could not fit bulky/large items under it when flat or hanging. The OEM cargo mat has zippers on the side to keep item from falling out the ends when upright. You will be able to use the aftermarket cargo mat for larger items.
