AcuraLink

I purchased a 2015 MDX Tech. On my previous model , a 2007 MDX, A Sirius traffic subscription was necessary Since I have Acura Link on my newer MDX, do I still need Sirius traffic subscription?

No. You should receive traffic through your AcuraLink subscription which does not require Sirius/XM.

This is correct on mdx prior to 2017. Then it's included in your AcuraLink subscription (even though it technically comes through xm radio I believe, u just have to pay acura and can't split it out on its own)

On 2017 and newer you don't need acuralink subscription for traffic, you get it for free over HD radio and never need a subscription
