Acura Care Maintenance - Is it worth or should i cancel?
Finance team informed me having Acura Care Maintenance would save money during Maintenance?
They charged me $1070 for 48 months/ 480000 miles.
i own a 2020 MDX AWD and do you think this is worth and how much would cost me, if i had to pay out of pocket for the regular service ?
Should i cancel it? Do they allow us to cancel?

I have a 19 MDX hybrid Adv with 21,000 miles that has a similar M.I.D. maint schedule as the sh-awd model. I do a mix of dealership, local/chain repair shops, and DYI to keep cost down between 3 Acuras (11 MDX Adv with +145,000 miles, 18 RLX hybrid with +15,000 miles). I'm pretty sure you are seeing the maintenance cost Acura charges compared to the normal local shop cost with some DYI. You are trading your time/labor for Acura's time/labor with the maintenance contract.
So far, my out of pocket maintenance expenses for my 19 MDX since I purchased in Mar/19 are around $770 ($488 to Firestone and Discount Tires) according to my Road Trip App on my smartphone.
Firestone $230: alignment with lifetime added on top. Alignment with new tires, suspension work, or once a year for the next +10 years
Discount Tires $258: Road hazard with lifetime rotation and balance for the life of the tires. Road force balance all 4 tires with new rims.
Acura $210: Two engine oil changes and rear diff oil change (all rotations/balance done at Discount Tires to keep the dealership oil changes cost down)
DYI $70: OEM engine filter and Bosch hepa cabin air filter. Purchased of Mobil 1 oil from Walmart to take to dealership for my 2 oil changes
I'm just expecting 3 more oil changes ($50 each), transmission service (+$230), three rotations/balances (no charge at Discount Tires), 2 cabin/ 1 engine filters ($40), and maybe new tires (with lifetime alignment) until I reach 50,000 miles.

And if you decide to cancel, you should be able to get back all or most of your $$.

Your MDX servicing shouldn't cost a ton for the first 4 years or so. I would cancel that agreement and take it to a Honda dealer to service. Most likely, Acura dealers will charge up the wazoo due to it being a "luxury" brand.
