20x10 wheel?

Is anyone running a 20x10 wheel on their MDX, would like to know if a 40+ offset would work or not. I've seen the RDX guys run 20x10s with 40+, I would like to have something that sits nice and flush so I could possibly run 265s or 275s. Any help?

There's a wheel thread here somewhere - use this calculator to plug OE sizing and 20x10 et40 to see the specs related to the fender clearance etc.

Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

fwiw, I hear 38 is max to keep it under the fender line (at the top), I'm running et42 on my Sparco Terra wheels and they're exactly where I want them, close to flush without going outside (because I don't want to clean dirt off my doors and mirror every weekend)

also, you can run 275's on a 9" wheel, I'm in the process of looking at 20x9 et40 with a 275/45-20 tire

I am running 20x10 +40 on the rear of mine. A square set up of 10's all around will work but it'll probably stick out past the front fender. I test for my 10's all around and in the front it was really close to the strut like to close for comfort and the wheel was out past the body a good bit

I wanted to have a wheel with a concave face to it, what width are you running up front? AWD? So a +40 would be close to the strut, I'm not to keen which way the sizing goes, would a 20x10 +38 be closer to the strut or farther?

+38 would be further from the strut than +40. However, I rarely see 10" width have +38. Most 8.5-9" are +35.

WHoops mistyped that. I meant most 10" widths I see are +38. I rarely see +38 8.5-9" wheels, as they are usually +35.
