2016 MDX Advance package does not have option "Message Auto Reading"

Hi,
i just got a 2016 MDX SH-AWD with advance package and i have been trying to figure out the txt messaging feature and i have noticed that when ever i received a txt, it notifies me, i select "read" then it takes me to another screen and it reads "check this message when vehicle is parked" so i noticed if i press the buttom again it does reads the message, now i searched on youtube and i found this person doing a walk through and in one of those options, i don't know which model he was using all i know is that it was a 2016 MDX, he had "Message Auto Reading" so i went to mine and i don't have that option. I just think it is a pain in the behind to press the buttom twice just to hear the message, one is fine but twice, it doesn't make sense. Also, i have 2012 CRV and yes it is totally different but in my CRV i only have to press the buttom once. Is there a way to just press the buttom and it reads the message to you?

thank you.

My '16 Advance reads texts back to me...it may depend on your phone though. When I got a text on my old GS4, the icon would immediately show up on the screen and ask if I wanted it read. When I got my Moto X Pure, I have to go into the phone/text menu and select it to have it read to me...and the text icon doesn't show up.

Mess around with it a little, I bet it'll read text to you and I'm guessing you have the later of my issues

Mine reads them back to me too, my issue is that why do i need to press the main buttom twice to hear it, do you have to do that too? if so than i guess that's how it is. thank you.

Does your 2016 mdx read the text out loud while driving? Mine only seems to do it while in park-which isnt very helpful to me since i can read it for myself while in park! I have a Samsung s6. This has been driving me nuts! My 2013 rdx did this and i dont understand why acura would go backwards with technology!

Not sure who you're replying to but we weren't talking about volume,

I was replying to Alipinski because he couldn't hear it, so it its about volume or like i said also that it might be related to his phone. Did you have an issue too?

He wasn't commenting on the volume, only that the only way it will read the text is when the car is in park. This is why I was confused why you were talking about volume. Which btw is what my 2016 Advance does to me with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Then is related to your phone not the car, mine works fine.
