Not the OP, but they look like XO Tokyo 22x9 Silver/brushed.

I don't think the owner will tell you what kind of wheels they are. On another forum he said he did all of the research so he was not going to give it away. He also covered the center caps so the name would not show in the picture.

The seller in Africa says they are Vossen mult-spoke wheels.

Probably only available in the African market.

I test drove a mdx 2014 awd on 22s in south Florida about a week ago. While it looks great, I did not like the way it drove, especially on high speeds. I would think the suspension would deteriorate much faster. It felt like it needed a good drop too to keep the cornering stable.

BTW, the photo was taken in NoVa/DC(Virginia). My buddy lives there and I recognize it.

Do company like Eibach or H&R makes springs for MDX yet? Just curious. I'm thinking of getting a set of 20" Vossen and would love to lower an inch.

LOL. The center caps are probably covered in real life, too. The silly guy really did scratch out the caps in these photos. Hi-Res images are in his photobucket. Search his screen names to see other forums he's a part of, m5, accord, hyundai, other mdx forum (banned).

This aren't Vossens! I'm no wheel expert but when it comes to Vossen I'm pretty good to see the difference between the real Vossen wheel vs a knockoff wheel.

And this is 100% Knockoff wheel.

So Sbynum's MDX is using knock-off wheels.

No wonder Sbynum has to scratch off the fake brand marking on the center caps.

I contacted XO wheels in FL and sent them this picture. They are going to confirm or deny these are XO Tokyo wheels. The pure fact the person will not say what these wheels are, leads me to believe they are knock off wheels. (Just won't admit it)

These are in fact NOT, I repeat not Vossen wheels. They are not the VVSCV1 or the VVS 083 wheels. Vossen 10 spoke wheels have a lip on them and the "end point" of the spokes do not look like the ones in the picture.

DO NOT PUT 22 inch wheels on a ACURA MDX, 20 inches MAX. You will ruin the ride quality of the vehicle and destroy the breaks and rotors. You will notice at over 65-70mph that the steering wheel will start to jiggle. (taking hands of the wheel) This car is not made for 22 inch wheels

I think it's unwise to screw with the OEM suspension/wheel setup to any large degree unless you are an expert - especially with all the electronics etc. Who knows what effects such low sidewalls will have on the suspension and related components. Furthermore, if anything goes wrong with the suspension and you do not have OEM spec wheels/tires, this could raise warranty issues - just saying.

As well, why would anyone want to lower a new SUV - you buy it to have a higher seating position and for better ground clearance - lowering a 20 year old truck I get but not this.

22's look good if you wanna look like you have a lifted MDX. It looks completely hideous.
