winter tires question

I already have winter tires Goodyear Performance 225/50/17 but i think they are terrible. Yesterday I had a very looooooong dancing party on icy road. I was lucky the intersection was completly empty so I just slide thru Im thinking about Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3d same size. Any suggestions?

I have Dunlop Winter Sport M3s and they have been great for 3 years so far. Very good in snow and slush, while still good on dry roads.

If you do not get a lot of snow and generally just have cold roads the sports are good. However if you see snow I would suggest a more aggresive snow tire like the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 or the Michelin X-Ice 2. My expereince was with Sport M2s on a Subaru Legacy vs. Blizzaks on a Honda Civic. The Civic felt better than the AWD Subaru
