Winter tires
Do you guys suggest getting 16 inch winter tires or should I go for the normal 17? Would driving on 16s have a detrimental effect on mileage/car? 225/45/16?
I'm probably gonna be driving to vermont from NY a lot so any help would be appreciated.

In Europe, the CU2 (Honda Accord) (our TSX) comes with 16" rims and tires on the base model. 16 x 6.5J, 205/60R16.
In general, winter tires with narrower width (205 vs 225) and taller sidewall (60 series vs 50 series) is better. From Tire Rack website " If you're going to drive through lots of snow this year you'll want your winter tires and wheels in sizes that help put the laws of physics on your side. A wide, low profile or large tire has to "plow" a wide path through snow which causes more resistance. The narrower the tire, the easier you can get through snow."

^ Pretty much all you need to know.
Just make sure 16s can fit over the brakes.
