Wheel sizes
Hi guys,
I just wanted to know if say, 19x8.5 +25 F and 19x9.5 +10 R are the max you can go for our car, will going 18's make a difference in the width and offset? Or is it the same thing?
Also, I wanted to know if there are any cons to driving a car with 18" in the front and 19" in the rear? Cause I might be getting my rears tomorrow which are 19" (I would also have to run stretched tyres so the profile will be less) and my stocks are 18".. would that look weird/is that bad for my car in any way?
My cousin mentioned something like, if our cars have <insert word that I did not hear properly>, we won't be able to... anyone got any info on this?
Thank you.

I would do 19 all around
its gonna look weird with different size front/back
i test fitted some wheels last week and i was impress that the TSX/Accord can take aggressive wheels with some fenders work

Ohh nonon, I meant I will be able to get my rear wheels soon so I wanted to mount them on before my fronts arrive. So I'd be running 19 rears and 18 stock fronts.
Ohh really? What sizes were you able to run??

So you will be running aftermarket 19" in the rear and stock 18" front? That would look weird and ugly even if it's temporary. Diameter does not affect offset and width. You want the overall diameter to be the same as stock so pairing the wheel with the appropriate tire size is important. Offset, negative camber, wheel width, and tire size will determine if it will clear the strut/fender.
The offsets you listed seem too low. I would suggest no lower than 8.5 +30 F, 9.5 +25 R. Even with that you will need to roll and possibly pull the fenders. Not sure how much of a roll, if any, can be done in the front. You will also need to run negative camber and stretch the tires.
As far as tires for 19x9.5, you can also use 245/35. It all depends on the application and look you're going for.

Yeah, I just wanted to run them temporarily.. Too excited for my wheels that's why.. But I doubt I would run it for long anyways because I'd still need to get a wheel alignment.
I would be driving around like a "Holden Commodore" which is an Australian brand. A lot of the "red necks/aussies" drive with different wheels etc cause they hoon and crap. My fronts will be fat stock 18's and the rears will be thin aftermarket 19's lol. I just wanan try fit them on :\
Would the ride comfort be really bad if I ran 35 instead of 40? I called up a place and they said minium is 245/40 :S
And thank you for the info guys, really helpful!

Roll your fenders and it won't be an issue. Run more camber if necessary. 19x9.5 +22 is pretty aggressive, I ran 19x9 +22 on 245/35 and it was poking quite a bit in the front with stock camber settings. Get 19s all around.

I am just waiting on my fronts that's why I'm running stock 18's at the moment. My aftermarket 19's won't be coming in for another 1-2months.
