TSX/TL Wheels Question

Hey guys, first thread on this forum...

I have always loved these TL wheels (my parents have an 09 TL and I tried so hard for them to get them; they however did not)

19" Alloy Wheel Diamond Cut with Paint 2009 - 2011 Acura TL, Acura Parts Super Store- Acura Accessories and Parts for sale online for a discount.

Anyways, I have a 2011 TSX sedan and was wondering if these wheels would fit? I figure they have a different bolt pattern and obviously they are larger (I have the stock 17" wheels).

Is this something feasible or would I be better off with sticking with a 17" or maybe 18" wheel?

If anyone has seen aftermarket wheels similar to this in a 17" size, I would be interested in those too.

Thanks for the thoughts/suggestions!

You pretty much answered your own question: They are a different lug pattern. 09-2013 TL's are 5x112 whereas our TSX's are 5x114.3.

There a adapters available to make it work, but I would advise against it. It's up to you if you want to take the risk. My buddy ran those wheels on a 1G TSX by using adapters. They looked great, but had some vibration at highway speeds.

19" wheels are a popular choice for our cars, so I don't see why it wouldn't be feasible. It all comes down to what YOU want/need.

Get the HFP'S 19"( Honda Factory Performance)they fit the 2nd gen TSX amazingly with no rubbing. Just ordered some H&R sport lowering springs that should lower about 1" as well. My Honda tech will have them installed for me tomorrow and said I should still have no rubbing :-) I am running summer tires hancook ventus ego v12. Deffenitly rotate every oil change to max out tire life. You will still use your original TPMS censors. Also, if you want, go to acura and get the 1st gen TSX center cap emblems only and install them in place of the Honda Emblems.

Below are 1st and 2nd gen HFP wheels for your 2nd gen. With tires and wheels combo, I think it rides better than stock wheels and Michelin tires.

Hope this helps.

Think long and hard about going to 19's. The upside is whatever you think it is; the downside to larger wheels (even 18's) is that they make the brakes look even smaller (especially the tinker toy rears).
