Spring Recommendation

Has anybody installed springs in their 2g TSX yet?

I can't decide on lowering the car the same for both front and rear or lower the front more than the rear given that the gap is larger in the front wheels.

With that said, any recommendations on brands? Eibach or Tein or H&R? Costs are so close so I just need some suggestions.

Im also interested to know how people's dampers are with lowering springs since i have heard in the last gen TSX, lowering springs killed the life of the factory dampers.

Both Eibach Pro and Tein HTech are progressive springs designed to use with stock shocks/struts. My friend's Accord has Eibach on it for more than 10 years without any problem with his struts.

If the road condition (surface) are rough, then stick with Eibach as you want more clearance (especially in the front for steering, braking etc) on a FWD car.

I have Tein S-techs on mine and I love em. It might be low for some, but to me if I had the money I would buy the Tein SS coils immediately but S-techs are nice

I love my H&R's but I wish I was lower honestly. If I could do it all over again I would just save for coils though..springs suck!

Springs do not suck, but coilover is usually fully adjustable (from ride height to stiffness) hence the higher cost.

its either you get springs and aftermarket shocks or coilovers

if you want to keep adjusting your height, then coilovers, if not, then spring/shocks

i dont think we have any aftermarket shocks yet for the CU2's? im not sure how long my OEM shocks will last with the s techs

can anyone confirm this?

hehe, sorry guys i wasnt being totally serious. This was my first time lowering a car and I absolutely loved the improvements in look and feel. But now that I've experienced this I just NEED to go more low and acheive that slammed look. After that maybe some wider wheels...maybe roll my fenders...add some camber...etc.

I dont know how much more money I want to spend on my car but I really want coilovers!!

I loved my springs, I'm just a nut and wanted to be lower. To be honest with how stiff I have my coils set 99% of you would be crying but just like stated I am a nut. Anything other then S-Tech though I believe is a waste of money 1" basically looks stock.
