I don't like cars with wheels that are similar in color, so I would suggest no bueno for this most recent selection.

Also, allow me to rave on the virtues of low unsprung weight. I decided to put my red aluminum lugs along with the 19s back on yesterday, and it was a noticeable difference coming from the stock wheels with chrome lugs.

Point: get some light wheels if you can!

Yes, it feels like the car accelerates faster. I was merging onto a freeway from an incline today and it seemed to not be as sluggish as usual.

I have the box of chrome lug nuts that I took off yesterday. It's a lot heavier than the box of anodized nuts that I put on. Combine that with going from the 17s to the 19s (in this case the 19s with tires are lighter) and I definitely feel a difference.

Obviously none of this has been tested scientifically. For example, tonight was not as warm as it was this past weekend. All just my own opinion/experience!

The ride on the 17s is definitely smoother. I was messing with the radio and didn't see a pothole coming... boy did it hurt. If I still had the 17s it would have absorbed more of the shock for sure. I forgot to look at the wheel after I came home. I hope I didn't bend or scratch it.

Ed, I would suggest some 18s, as I imagine LA has the same if not worse crappy roads that we have up here in the Bay Area. If I had to do it over, I'd get 18s.

Hey Ed, how bout these pc'd a shade lighter than yur car? I think that... along w/ the chrome lip next to the black of the tires would pop.
