Painting springs?

I can get a great deal on Tein springs from someone. However, they are green. As much as some think that is cool, I rather have black. Yes, I know I can get Eibach.

My question is, is it a good idea to paint coil springs? Rattle can paint job. If I'm going to spend the $$$ on getting a pro job, I might as well buy a set of new Eibach.

strip off the green paint first.

wouldnt the new paint likely crack from the spring continuously flexing?

I don't see how that would affect the springs, but I'm no expert.

But does the green color bother you that much? I mean can you even see it once they are installed and your car settles?

So I would assume the original paint is of a flexible type.

haha dont worry man, once its install you cant even see them

but if you must insist, i have a feeling the paint might crack since the springs gonna be compressed and bounce around
