it depends on the offset and style of rim also with stretch tires roll and pull fenders our car can take some low offset rims
defcon runs 9.5" all around with 45 offset if i remember correctly
do you have a specific rim and spec that you want to get that would help to answer your question

Thanks or the quick response, bro. I'm strugglin! I originally wanted to sit on VOSSEN CV1's with a 8.5 front and 10 rear. But we're incredibly pricy. Do I found a similar concave style in the STANCE SC-5... They're offsets range from 15-45... In both 19" and 29"... Help!!!

yup defcon has 19x9.5 +45, concave face

i think for some rims, offset determines the concavity (such as, 8"wide or 8.5" wide) but for some, once you are at 9.5 or past that, it's already concave despite what the offset is.

Thanks for the closure, boys. I'm getting closer to the end. By the time I'm done it'll be sickening! I'll check out Benben now.

I checked out benben's TSX. It's absolutely nuts! I think the problem is that I really want a super serious concave like you see in some G35's or 37's specifically in the VOSSEN website. And I really don't think we can pull those off with these acura's but we'll soon find out. Thanks again!

You can pull that off...if you wanna put work in which means fender pull and flare and such. Camber kits + stretch tires also help the cause

Yeah, I agree fellas. My only reservation is that these girls are so beautiful stock that just a little bit of work makes them look even better. And honestly, I think just as you all have done I can get the same sick look without plastic surgery. Ya dig? When can I start posting pictures damnit?!?

Because pushing the limits means money, bro. And honestly until my girl graduates nursing school in December I don't have enough of it to have fun pay bills AND hook up a car that I just paid 26g's for. I wanna lower it, buy shoes, brake kit, exhaust, engine intake and programmer and maybe some JL audio speakers. That's where I'm limiting myself LOL

i think the most aggressively stanced anyone on here has gotten on these boards was Ua6-spec. hawaiians know how to stance their cars.

i think that guys running 19x10 in the rear? or 19x10.5

IMO 19x9.5 is a good width for our car stance wise

I forget. i think it may have been 20x10.5 or 11 even . I think a 10.5 gives you a nice hard parked look. But 9.5 is a good balance of looks and drive-ability.

I think in one post the guy said the specs were 19x10 rear and another he said 19x10.5.

Italiano!!! That's exactly the look I'm going for but in hyper silver on the palladium paint. Good stuff!!! Not a big fan of how that black TSX sits, but that's just me. I think 9.5 is plenty. However, I've been researching this for a couple weeks as many of us probably have and the TL can take up to a 10.5 stagger easily. However, the TSX isn't even close to being as wide in the rear. So I agree, I'm gonna do a 9.5 to keep a great, look, drivability and minimize the amount of cosmetics to the body.

Italiano, where did you get your wheels and how much did you pay. Also, what are your wheel specs 19x 8.5? 9.5? 10.?

do you want same width all around or you wanna go staggered set up?
8.5" would fit without any problems other will require either fender work or stretch tires or if you wanna go with crazy offset both

I originally wanted 8.5 or 9.0 in the front and 10 or 10.5 in the rear. But once I learned how thought that would be for the rear.

I think I can get a good look from a 8 or 8.5 in the front and a 9 to 9.5 in the rear. My only problem is that i don't know how that would work to to the negative offset of these Vossen's.

the vossen CV1's specs are as follows...

Specs: 19x8.5 | 19x10 | 20x9 | 20x10.5 | 22x9 | 22x10.5

and the STANCE are more appropriate IMO...

Specs: 19x8.5-19x9.5-20x8.5-20x9-20x10-20x10.5

Since you are in relatively uncharted territory here, be prepared to take your time with this one. If you order tires also consider that you might want them stretched since we are talking major stance work here

Thanks! I've done the math, literally and have figured it out. The Vossen's are out of the question.

Next month stance is coming out with an offset that will fit perfectly!

So, I'm gonna go 19x8.5 offset (45) in front and 19x9.5 offset (48) rear. Should be fine, and I'll see about how much drop after I see how they fit.

Roger that, guys! Thanks for pointing that out. What's the lowest offset I can fit on these babies?!?

The next closest thing would be 20x8.5 (+35) 20x9 (+32) or (+20)

Basically, you are looking for the numbers to be as aggressive as possible without rolling fenders, stretching tires or running too much camber right?

Unfortunately, aggressive wheel set ups are a dime a dozen here on acurazine and most people get an 8-9 width wheel with a 32-48 offset and call it a day. Only a handful of people here on this forum have a 9.5" wide wheel, or wider, with a +30 offset or lower.

^ + 1. Since aggressive usually means fender work, a lot of people want to avoid it. I used to want to run wheels without rolling fender and call it a day, but now I learn if I want the perfect stance look IMO then ima have to roll fenders.
