New Wheels for my TSX

Looking at purchasing these sets of wheels for my 2010 Acura TSX.The exterior body color is Crystal Black Pearl with Black interior..I'm looking at 245/40/r19" tires...I'm new to the import scene so any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated. After reading other posts on wheels it seems that many acura tsx owners are going with 19" wheels..Heres the link for a picture of the wheels-----http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/BigPic.jsp?wheelMake=Zinik&wheelModel=Z24&wheelFin ish=Machined+w%2FBlack+Accent

in my opinion...wheels brands such as the one you are looking at, targets inexperienced wheel shoppers. No hate though, cause like you said, you are new to the import scene. After you get to know your wheel selection better...you will realize that for a similar price you can get a much more better looking, better quality, reputable wheel. When I first started, I really didnt know any better and I would see the ugliest wheel and think it was the sex. As for the wheel you picked..it just has cheap written all over it. Moreover, most of the users here have a import/euro style of tuning so our wheel choices are usually different from what you have picked, which is more of a domestic/american style wheel. How much is your budget though? Maybe we can help you find some better wheels in your price range.

At the end of the day it's all up to you ...my opinion is bias so just take what you want from it

+1 Majority of the replies here WILL be bias.
Those rims would suit cars like Holdens/HSV/Fords etc (just my bias opinion) - I love JDM

Hey ttk5..I'm gonna take your advice man!! u really got me thinking..i'm no millionaire but i'm willing to spend my hard earned money on some nice wheels, and good quality..Any other suggestions as far as wheel brands is concerned..I for sure want to go with 19" wheels...Staggered maybe..for that "badass look" maybe black with a chrome lip only because my TSX is black with black interior

offset is everything. But can you please just keep everything in one thread...you have 4 threads open right now, all on pretty much the same topic.

I merged all your wheel threads. Some advice...from now on, just keep questions on the same topic in one thread.

i personally don't like aftermarket wheels, unless the car is completely tricked out. If you go with 19s, the car will definitely look better lowered. Do you have the stock 17s, or the V6 18s? I like the OEM 18s on the V6...

i like them too. IMO acura shuold've went with those in the first place.
however, they are quite heavy.

Hey bro. Like someone else said in here, most seem to have a more Euro-Centric style. Personally Im not into that style so like someone else said, go with what you like. Also, if you know where to shop, you can get high cost wheels for deep discounts if you shop online. I'm running 20x8.5 all around on 235/35's and not lowered Some on here will tell you that this look isn't too hot but it looks fine to me. My car is the Crystal black pearl too and it turns heads everywhere, trust me. I also painted my grill black except the chrome portion with a Acura symbol. It makes it loom a little meaner. Lol.

Go with what you're happy with bro.

Hey bro. Sorry for taking so long to reply. Here's some pics of my car with the rims.

http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...y/IMG_0030.jpg

http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...y/IMG_0010.jpg

http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...y/cb1e97c5.jpg

Hope this helps. My rims are 20x8.5. Offset it high, 42. No rubbing at all. Tires are 235/35's. As for as if you should go with 20's, honestly it would be your personal decision. It really depends on the rim that you choose. I like the "look" of having more rim than tire so that's why I went with 20's. I, like yourself, have no plans on dropping it. I'm keeping it close to stock as much as I can although you can see in one of my shots that I did put in Artic White DRL's instead of the stock ones. For the rims I chose, 20's look fine, in my opinion. I also upgraded my HID lights to 8k instead of the stock 4300k and converted my fogs to HID 8k as well, replaced interior bulbs with artic white ones as well as dome lights and reverse and license plate lights.

Let us know what you do decide bro. I'm sure it will look great when you're finished with it.

Edit: I also painted part of the grill as you can see in the shot but left the other portion chrome to go with the wheels and trim. Added chrome license plate trims on both front and back as well.

Go with 235/35 tires. It will give you more sidewall and the tires won't have that stretched look. You won't have any rubbing or anything either.

Some will say you need to lower it but I think it looks good as is. Awesome pictures.
