lowering springs
I don't know anything when it comes to springs or lowering a car at all. I just know I want to lower it about 1.5 inches to fit my new rims. Are Tein S lowering springs something I'm able to do at home or do I need to go to a shop to get them installed and compressed? im sorry I dont know anything about springs lol

The most difficult part would be compressing the OEM springs. You need a special tool for that. It is technically not a hard job, but since you never done this before, I'd recommend taking it to the shop. You might hurt yourself if you start compressing the spring improperly and it flies out and hurt you

This is my first car and I DIY everything. The springs are not difficult at all. I think it's easier (just because there's a lot more space to work with) than installing an intake just more time consuming though. Search the DIY on this its really helpful. All you need to buy for yourself is a socket wrench with the appropriate heads and some wd-40 or PB blaster. Getting regular wrenches can come in handy too. You can rent spring compressors from advance auto parts but let me tell you this part is time consuming! I would also invest in an impact wrench to get this job done faster and you can get your wheels off and on the car a lot faster too. Good luck!
I think tiens are 1.5" drop so I think you're good there but if you want to go lower I use M2 lol

This is also my first car that I've done anything to. I've done everything on it myself. Spend a lot of time searching and reading the DIY guides on here, and set aside about twice as much time as you think its going to take for the job. I would check into renting the spring compressor and any other semi expensive tools you will only use once.

if you think you can do DIY it, it will save you a LOT of money.
im pretty handy and i know i cant handle a project like this.
i know you can buy spring compressors at return them after use. a lot of folks do that.
if you dont know what youre doing, i would def pay someone to do it.
be prepared to pay like $4-500 for labor though.

idk man.. most shops charge around a $100/hr for labor.
every shop ive ever asked estimate springs/coils install at a hr per wheel.
luckily, i know a honda tech who does side work and he said hed do mine for $150.
i just dont really wanna lower til i can buy a decent set of coils.
dont wanna cheap out on suspension.
