impressions after lowering the car

omg it feels so much sportier and the steering wheel gives me more resistance now. when im driving on the freeway, the handling is a lot better and i can't easily wiggle the steering wheel anymore. im using S-tech springs and definitely like the stiffer suspension

i jus installed my s-techs on fri. and i couldnt agree with you more. it has definately made a big difference. and not to mention the car looks sooooo sexy now.

Maybe he means is less floaty or darty on the highway?

OP, a change in your alignment can result in less wandering but get it aligned or you may experience excessive tire wear, usually on the inside 2" or so of the front tires.

A *very slight* bit of toe-in will make it track straighter.

that's the first thing I thought of as well.....stiffer cars tend to bounce around a lot when hitting bumps and whatnot........

Im interested in getting the S-techs for my car too, with the stock 17s tho... but just wondering how much of a drop is there as my driveway is pretty steep

How much is the drop defcon? :o Is it around 17cm from the ground to the front bumper?

Glad you got your drop....you know this is pointless without those pics though....ha

Let us know how your alignment turns out. Would like to know how off it is with base instal.

guys this thread is 2 years old.

the s techs are 1.6 inches on the front and 1.4 inches on the rear

us americans dont use cm. haha too lazy to convert it to inches

im running rdx wheels, 245/40, but yeah this is still a big gap. also, i didnt realize the thread was so old, sorry.

im running 19s 235/35 on my 11' and i still have a huge gap. im getting my new s techs installed this weekend

Oh, I don't mind 1/1.5 finger gap.. Though I might even have to go 2 finger gaps as some of my car parks here are steep ):

damn really? even with s tech? i thought after those settles you drop like 2 inches and u still have 1.5 - 2 finger spaces/?
