H&R sport lowering springs w/ 19" wheels pics

Wanted to thanks everyone for their input on helping me lower my ride :-)
Opted for H&R sport lowering springs and rides just like OEM with no rubbing. Thanks again for all the input/help.

Below is my setup.
1.25" drop
19" Honda factory performance wheels running Hancook ventus evo v12 summer tires

Looks very nice, though some spacers on the rear might make it look even better.

H&R normally has a very good rake with the drops springs. The rear end of your car seems to be sitting lower than the front is that just the camera angle?

You're almost my twin

Looks good, those rims match the lines of the TSX well. Drop is about perfect too.

Thanks everybody. Just an update still loving my ride dropped. Drives very close to OEM except when you hit a large bump or railroad tracks but its worth it. :-) coming into a corner hot is amazing. There is pretty much zero body roll due to drop and h&r sport lowering springs.

Thanks again for all the input and help.

Looks good. That's the exact route I went as well. Black Pearl Dropped on H&R with HFP rims. Very happy with the turnout as yourself. I found that the car handle much better after the drop. It sits so nicely on the highway and gas mileage is still good for 19s.

Just wanted to say how perfect your car looks! Good work!

Seems like you did your research about suspension, did you come across any info on Swift springs? I've heard good things but don't know if they have a TSX application.

Also, what width tires on those wheels? Are wheels 8" wide?

Very nice! Are you using stock shocks? What size tires are you running? I really like the look and am planning on going this route with my 2g. I was trying to stay away from modding my TSX, but its just too tempting. Now to find a way to convince my wife!

Thanks Danny. Below is my set up.
1. Have H&R sport lowering springs
2. Drop is about 1.25"
3. Camber adjustments Front left -0.3 Front right -0.7 Rear left -2.5, rear right -2.7 .
4. No fenders mods
5. Honda Factory Performance Wheels 19"
6. Hancook Ventus Evo V12 summer tires (245/40)

Drives and handles amazingly. Running stock shocks. No regrets. Just threw on a body kit:-)
Will post pics later.

This looks great! Are you running any camber kits or any other adjustments? How is your tire wear?

Being on 19s myself, and similar tires, and exactly the same camber specs, I have driven 3k on my tires and the inside will wear faster but not at an alarming rate. I made sure I have zero toe on the front, and minimal toe on the rear (just to track the car straight). Toe will chew up your tire much more than camber, driving on dirty concrete you can see where the contact patch is, and its barely touching on the far outside edges- which is expected.

Good looks cost you more money at the end of the day, you have to pay to play.

More then likely not. Kinda depends on the drop and the size of your rims and tires, although I would put in a camber kit just in case you decide to go more aggresive with some coilovers in the future, and like I said depends on the springs and the wheel and tire combo.

Not really necessary. Install your springs, drive around for a few weeks, then get an alignment and have them correct the toe, that's all you need to do. Yes, it may be that the camber will be out of spec, but that's not a huge factor in tire wear if the toe is set right. If your camber is way off, and if it bothers you and you really need the camber corrected back to the stock range, then go ahead and get a camber kit.

My camber specs with Eibachs are here: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...4&postcount=32

It has been six months and maybe 5,000 miles (half on my summers and half on my stocks) and no excessive camber wear observed thus far.

Okay Good to know. I plan on keeping parts mostly factory . So I'm just doing H & R pro kit lowering springs(1.3" drop) , and would like to do a 19" rim all around .

I just posted this in reply to you in the other H&R thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...2&postcount=19

And I think you meant H&R and not Pro Kit, because Pro Kits are made by Eibach.

Yea H&R lowering springs is what I meant my bad. Thanks for the help, after I lower the car I'm going to see what's best. Ppl may be against it on FWD cars but I really like a staggered rim set (wider in back). I had a g35 with 9" rims in rear with a 8.5 tire stretched on it looked awesome. But I may jus keep this car clean. Lemme know thoughts??

Where do you get HFP wheels at? I've never seen these and this is by far one of the best looking setups there is

Except for the fact that they said about 10 mm too far in the wheel well.
