Eibach Pro Kit Broke my Strut?!!

So I just put my Eibach Pro kit on my 2010 TSX about a month ago, and now there is a LOUD "CLUNKING" noise in the rear passenger side of the car. Every bump I go over, it CLUNKS very loud. I took it to my shop, and they checked all connections, and everything is secure and installed correctly.

I called Eibach, and they had no answers for me whatsoever.

Have any of you heard of this happening? And if so, if I fix it, will it happen again? do I need to replace both rear struts or just the passenger side?

Please help!

I recall someone else having this issue before, and it was because the spring wasn't sitting on the perch properly. When tightening and re-aligning the assembly, it's easy to get the spring to move out of its seat. IIRC, the spring should be turned clockwise as much as possible until it can't be turned anymore and is against the "step" like in the pic below:

I would pull out the entire assembly and check this.

Are the struts leaking? It might not be a bad idea to take the whole thing apart and put it back together again.

Have you tried tightening the nut that is on the top and center of the strut? I had this problem on a civic a few years back. Any time a would hit a bump it would make a loud clap/clunk sound. I just tightened that nut and problem was sloved. Hope you figure it out soon!
