do we need alignment kit if installing springs?
tirerack says it's recommended. and when i had my 04 Accord V4 i had to buy the alignment when i put the H&R lowering spring on.

I dropped mine on Eibach prokits which is only 1 inch front and rear but my camber was way off in the rear and an alignment did not fully bring it back to within factory specs so I bought the SPC camber kit to bring it within spec.
Heeltoe's got an article basically saying that a good alignment is pretty much all you need after lowering cause it's toe that ruins your tires but I like things to be within spec anyways.

I'm thinking the same thing. I lowered my car with springs (1.2 in front and 0.7 in back) last month but haven't got around to do an alignment yet. Plus I cheaped out and got Nexen tires so I don't really care if it wears unevenly. I care more about the car directing me into a barrier but the car drives pretty straight.
Please share thoughts as I'm still sitting on the fence.

^ haha yeah when I lowered my Integra 2 inches on sportlines I didn't care about my Nexens either ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I figure if you actually care about tire wear and keeping things in spec then get the camber kit...read up on derwood's post before he installed his SPC kit.
Can't really sit on the fence about alignment though IMO....

That may be true for the front, but when I dropped my 05 (the same for all intents and purposes as all TSX's, 04-011), about 3/4", the rear camber was way off. And the stock supsension has no camber adjustment, so if you want to bring it back to anywhere near OE spec, you'll need a camber kit (I used Ingalls' and strongly recommend it). I don't really know what to believe about the tire wear ramifications.... I just didn't like the way it looked. That's why I got the Ingalls kit and went back to the OE spec rear camber (-1).

You see me, I CU2
So from what I have read I can conclude that
1) If we don't care about tires we don't need 1
2) If we care about tires all we need to do is get an alignment
3) If we care about OE spec, we get an alignment and camber kit front/back?
p.s. anyone know if CU2 suspension is adjustable as Simba91102?
