dont worry none taken, but why would you want to paint over your brake pads like that...and looks like you painted over some of your brake lines and stuff too.

He won't die, it's just the rear brakes, but if he did the front also, then yeah, that's going to seriously compromise stopping power.

(Hint: you didn't just paint the caliper, you painted the entire frickin' assembly, some parts of which require lubrication to work properly.)

Not sure about the yellow, and not to sure about painting the whole thing. But +1 for going with with a different color. I am def interested in seeing full side shots of this.

well, that yellow will def. pop against the black color.

which, why yellow?with the murder theme you seem to be going for ( blacked out grille and super dark tail light tint), black painted calipers would seem more logical

Nice attempt.
next time you should take off the caliper and bracket. paint them separate.
Shouldnt have sprayed the pads.

yellow looks HORRID, btw.

Yellow is horrid, i had my calipers painted on my 1g TSX and had no issues just painted my 2g TSX calipers black no issues so i dont think you should be saying stuff like that when theres no evidence to back it up. If something acctually did happen to him i hope you would all feel like shit

why would we feel like shit if we are expressing concerns to him that painting sensitive and/or vital brake assembly parts may lead to premature brake failure and a risk or death of injury?

if anything atleast with our warnings he could look up the evidence himself and determine whether or not it is safe to be painting those parts of the caliper like that

Whats wrong with Killer's post? :S And if something did eventually happen to him, I would feel shittier if I had said nothing in the first place. Chances are nothing will happen, but it is definitely possible that the excessive paint on all those parts will some how increase the risk in some way shape or form, even if its by 1%?

I can see yellow calipers on a gray body, but yellow on black just seems to clash too much. I wouldn't say much if you had a BBK.
