Damaged rim

2011 TSX Base.

Hit something on the road. Got flat, and damage to lip of rim. Do you guys think I need a new rim?. Anyone know a good place where I can find one?. Called the dealer and they want $750 for a rim LOL. I am in Northern NJ.

Looks like there is a good nick, but should be enough of a lip to still hold the bead and air.

That tire tho ...

If the wheel doesn't hold the air properly, then try eBay. I've seen some OEM wheels on there for cheaper. Maybe your local junkyard as well. It'll be kinda tough to buy just one wheel off a particular individual, IMO.

Could be a reason to buy 4 new wheels

Different style.

There used to be a website, I will have to search for it where you can buy OEM wheels.

750 is normal for a perfect oem wheel. A cheaper wheel may have hair lined under that stress.

Id count yout lucky stars and replace the wheel if need be. I bet it holds air though. Just fix it if so.

That damage looks minor and strictly cosmetic (though check the inside of the wheel too). Unless you can't stand to look at it, I'd suggest just replace the tire and call it a day. If not, I'm sure you could find one on ebay, though even used, it probably wouldn't be cheap.

There are lots of places that will repair that fairly minor damage. There are also lots of places that sell wheels. Here is an example. Tacky website and all.

Actually, I think MSRP for that wheel is about $500 and new wheels are available from places like Bernardi for ~$300
