Camber and rim size questions
Ok so I spent the whole day so far researching about lowering the tsx on the forums. So it's not as simple as just buying springs and rims n install. I actually learned alot but still lost.
So my goal is to get a flush look and still have a comfy ride. I decided that the Megan EZ Streets would be my best bet. I would like to avoid rolling fenders n getting a camber kit if possible. Now if I get 18s what do I have to know so I don't have rubbing issues and don't need the camber kit. I read something about 245/35/18 would result in no rubbing but I am still confused. :/

Good choice on the coils , and you can be flush without rolling the fenders if you do 18 with the correct offset and stretch but beware of speed bumps/potholes if you hit it too fast or at the wrong angle you can dent your fender . so what offset are you thinking for the 18in rim ?

I haven't really decided but probably +40 so it doesn't stick out too much. U think o still need a camber kit if I drop 1.5ish inch?i wouldn't drop it until I have 1cm gap or anything.

Thats if you go with an aggressive offset and width. he said he wants to lower it an it 1.5in if he did 18x8.5 which i think might be what he will do he wont need a roll to be flush if he only lowers it 1.5in . i agree with what your saying about drop and rolling fenders is need to make the rims fit but only to a certain style / stance i have to roll and pull b/c im doing 19x10 & 19x9.5 and i ride slammed so it depends on style and drop height bro

what size rims are you trying to fit and what look are you going for other than flush? like flush and slammed or just to get rid of a little gap

check out his thread hes doing 18x8 + 30 offset tires are 245 40 18 pretty much close to your sizing other than the width and it doesnt look as if he rolled his fenders pm him see if hell give more info on his setup for you

Everyday I'm rofling
+1 on coilovers. At first I thought I'd only want to lower 1", but then after about a month I wanted to go lower so now I'm at about 1.5". Considering going just a little lower in the rear in the future.

This thread has been very helpful for me. I don't know anything about suspensions or cambers either but am interested in dropping my car on coilovers as well. I am looking to upgrade to either 19"s or 20"s but am not trying to do much other than possibly roll my fenders.
