Another wheel question
Another wheel question
I'm trying to learn all I can so...
If our lug pattern is 5x114.3, what are people doing to put other pattern wheels on there.
I've seen people have TSX's on VMR's that are stock 5x112 I believe.
What are all the ways one could make this work?

the best answer is to buy wheels that fit.
but if you're dead set on making a set of wheels that dont fit, fit...you can buy spacers/adapters...this would be the 2nd best option.
third option would be to re-drill the holes, and would be the last resort.
however; the smartest thing to do is to simply buy wheels that have the correct specs.

OP, I'm one of those people you're referring to. I had my set of V710s professionally redrilled by WheelFlip, the same vendor that sold them to me. It cost me $100, which I don't know whether is a good/bad price to be honest. They were doing this regularly a couple years back for S2000 owners apparently (it's somewhere on their site), so I emailed them and asked if I could get them to do it for me.
I had zero issues with vibrations/fitment etc. Although, they did mess up on one wheel in a different manner; they bored the CB to some weird ass number like 74.1mm. I had to get 2 sets of hub rings lol, and 64.1 to 74.1mm hub rings were sort of hard to come by even on eBay at the time lol.
You could also get the adapters, but these will space your wheels out, probably at least 15mm. So, plan accordingly.
But like Justin said, it's best to buy wheels that fit from the get go.
