2012 TSX parts for new shocks (Tein EnduraPro Plus)
Hello everyone, so I've recently purchased a set of EnduraPro Plus shocks / H-tech springs from Tein. I know they don't come with the top mounts, and you're supposed to reuse the OEMS, but I wanted to possibly just buy the parts new. I'm just unsure about all the parts I'll be needing.
This diagram is from acura.oempartsonline.com
I'd appreciate the help if someone could point out which parts I'll need to order (not sure if this is the best site to buy these parts, they seem cheap in price)
Also, I've watched some videos, and I'm unsure about the bump stop. Should they be cut for extra travel?

Do you have the exact front & rear strut Tein part numbers for the EnduraPro Plus units you purchased??
Better yet, provide the interweb link that will lead to exactly what you ordered.

So, looking at that website you ordered TEIN S-Tech Lowering Springs for 2012 Acura TSX for $234.97; TEIN EnduraPro Plus Adjustable Shocks / Struts (Full Set) for Acura TSX for $569.97, totaling $804.94 before taxes & shipping?
Brah, you could have just opted instead for the below Flex Z's for just $87.95 more and received a far superior coilover kit with same ride adjustability and separate lowering flexibility.
Then there would be no need to either toil over removing old strut components or purchase new strut components above to complete the EnduraPro Plus'.
Four cylinders, and yeah, I'm aware of the total cost.
I just heard you need to take care of coil-overs, rebuilding around every 50k miles, as well as keeping it clean so they don't seize up, I just didnt want to deal with all that. I live in MA, so we get a good amount of snow/rain
Maybe next time tho.

Fair enough, never had to contend with the hassle of 'salt'; therefore, I yield to your experienced judgement.
With that said, if you are set on new OEM 'strut components' (it's going to be expensive), as shown in your diagram above, then for the front it appears you will basically need two of everything EXCEPT #'s 2; 9; 13. Just be sure to look for a driver side & passenger side specific #12.
Post a picture of the rear strut suspension diagram so that I can look at those components as well.

Okay OP, you peaked my interest, lol.
I was curious at just how 'expensive' going the OEM route would be to purchase all new relevant components to make your front & rearEnduraPro Plus shocks ready to install without cannibalizing the existing factory struts.
In short, out of about 17 total individual TSX Acura/Honda part numbers the cost result, before taxes & shipping, is below:
However, if you compile a list of the 17 individual OEM part numbers and plug them into RockAuto's 'Part Number Search' functionality, you will find nearly eleven of the seventeen in less expensive aftermarket options to choose from.
Thus, make your picks and save big $$, then just procure the remaining six items not available from an online OEM vendor.

Wait wtf, this website is sick, thanks for letting me know. I was a little busy, so it took a while to come back. I was going to share the diagram for the rear, but I guess you found it.
I was looking at the drop-down menus for the TSX on this website, and they have kits with the parts needed, it seems
Also, I unboxed the struts I got, and the front comes with the bump stops and dust shields, so I only need those for the rear, I guess
I added all the parts to this cart https://www.rockauto.com/en/cart/?ca...b96ef70aeb5556 I think this is all? I'm a little confused regarding the strut mounts, on the acura.oem website, each side as well as front and rear have different part numbers, but on RockAuto they have all the same numbers on the descriptions
I don't know if this part is a front strut mount or rear?
1) The picture (purple) below is for the front; however,
2) the part numbers (red) indicate the rear?
Maybe go with KYB instead, though, there is no OEM 'part number' data to cross reference, lol?
