18"s help please
Hi Guys,
This is a pic of my current ride:

I am considering upgrading to these 18" rims:

1st question: What do you guys think?
2nd question: I currently have 18" wheels on my car, I am sure I can use the same tyres that I currently have?
3rd question: These wheels are 114.3 pcd and offset=35. Will this be fine?
I also plan to drop it with H&R springs.
Thanks for the guidance guys (I am verrry noob when it comes to wheels and tyres)

This is the other option... Just confused with the offset though, not sure what to get.
I know the tyres are 235/45/R18, I will be doing the H&R drop as well. Want it to look sweet, but dont want to have any rubbing issues. So as far as the offset goes, I really dont know what to do...
if you consider yourself a "noob," I suggest waiting a little bit longer before investing in some new wheels...perhaps get your springs first. As you look around the forum more and see more pics of other people's cars, you will naturally start to learn what kind of wheel looks "good." When your new to the wheel game, its hard to distinguish what you actually like and actually think looks good, so you need to give yourself some time to learn this and develop your own "style." No harm in waiting so just give yourself a couple months...we've all been here before so its all good.

Guys, he's asking about offset.
If I'm correct, the OEM offset for your V6 rims are 55. Since the rims you're looking at have an offset of 35, then the wheel will stick out 20mm further than stock (meaning further out, looking more flush with the fenders). You can actually go out and measure it to be sure.
I don't like either rim but if I had to choose I'd say the second one.
Dropping on H&R springs would give you a bit of a tucked look if you like that. I think it'd be nice on your 18's.
A more conservative drop would be Eiback prokits or Tein H-techs, both are around 1 inch settled.
Are you sure of the tire size? I thought OEM 18's were 225/45/18?
BTW, here's an offset calculator for you:

Hey mate, I can help you, I have 18". You need to get ET45 and the tire is 235/45/18. Its bigger then original but all type-s have them stock so it will be fine. If you are going to use 18" you must choose it very wise. 18" is too small for our cars, I had to use it because we have terrible roads and to hide it i choose black rims. I really suggest to go with 19". Good luck!
born2blaze is right--for looks 19's are much better. I know--I've got 18's.
Performance-wise, 19's are heavier than 18's so your unsprung weight is going to go up which adversely effects acceleration. That's why I chose lightweight 18's instead. Our cars are underpowered to begin with with the 4-cylinder.
I actually like the idea of keeping the stock rims and just lowering on h&r's. There's a picture of one lowered already somewhere on this forum.
The only way you're going to get a lower profile is by going up in wheel diameter to 19 or 20
