my 12 wagon has this whirring noise when driving, from speed of 20mph to 60mph, it has this whong whong noise as the wheels are spinning. but when i applied brake the noise disappeared, as soon i released the brake the noise came right back. after 15 miles of driving, I check the brake disc and shoe, they are both very hot, it burns if you touch it. anyone know what might cause this noise? Thanks

 

Sounds like a seized/stuck caliper. Should be a warranty fix with the wagon being so new.

 

Kitt can u confirm if that's what the cause was? I'm having the same type of issue

 

test drove with dealer and they said they couldn't hear it, that day was raining so really can't determine. I still do hear the noise but not loud. seems it's more pronounce when temperature is higher like 80+ degree day. i was thinking it could also be the wheel bearing also, dealer agreed to check again when the 1st oil change comes.
