Weird rev sound everytime I start my car
Hey guys, I drive an 09 TSX 150k miles
I have had this problem next day after I got an alignment. I don't think my problem is related unless they wanted to mess up something intentionally. Everytime I start my car it makes this loud rev like sound. It is not the RPM because I don't see it going up when it start it and it has a slightly different sound. It's like something is loose and spins faster then it goes back to normal after a second, it doesn't last any longer. I have also noticed it takes a little longer to start the car like a couple more cranks, so I'm guessing it could be the starter going bad? I got an emission check engine today in the morning but sometimes I get that because of loose fuel cap, I will take it to get it diagnosed anyways. I'm attaching the video of the sound, please listen it in high volume so you can hear it better. I know it should rev up a little when it starts but this sound is just loud, not normal.

So just to update, this noise became louder and it still keeps happening for a second or two, my engine light was about the air fuel sensor which has nothing to do with this. I did my research and figured it out that the problem is the VTC actuator. I compared to other vtc actuator sounds on youtube are they are very similar only when starting the car. I'm a DIY and like to fix my car but for this problem I have no choice than to take it to the dealer, I hope it doesn't cost me an arm and leg to get it fixed.
