Washer fluid indicator doesn't work

My indicator for washer fluid doesn't work. Today my washer fluid was empty and the indicator did not show anything maybe something got stock inside? It was first time when I refilled washer fluid. Anyone??

Unless you've got Canadian model, there's no sensor in the tank. The light on the dash is only for the Canadian market. I guess the $3 sensor was too rich for our American blood.

I don't understand the reasoning behind it but that's the way it is. It's a pretty silly little thing to get bent out of shape about though. I just top mine off every few months. Maybe once a month in the winter. I've never run out.

I did just today and I really needed to know the level of fluid. I guess it's nothing big but cars had this since ever and now Acura is backing up on this? It is just stupid. It doesn't cost much come on.

Our 1st gen. doesn't have one either, and we learned this the hard way when our washer fluid ran out last week. Thankfully it was the night before the snow/ice storm we got here and we were able to refill the reservoir before it hit.

This is really dumb of Acura IMO.

Lukeatron. . . since we are talking about sensors. . . .even though my car has not burned any oil in 9K miles, does it have a low oil sensor (not low pressure, low oil)?

I believe the oil sensor is a pressure switch, not a level switch. Can anyone verify that?

I had the same situation, today my fluid finished and no warning came out even when it was empty.

Cdn model has a 4.5 litre w/w tank vs 2.5 litre tank for the US model, as well as having the low w/w fluid warning signal.
