Voice Command CD Problem?

I don't know if this is a problem or just a freak occurence but once in awhile when I give the command to play a specific CD it will go to that CD and track # but I'm not getting any music. It's only happened twice and there is nothing wrong with the CD it was different CD's that it has happened with both were DVD-A. If it is a problem I have a feeling it will be one of those problems that you can never duplicate when you are at the dealer.

In either of our 08 TSX i can CD play but if I ask for a specific track, it either starts from the beginning or picks some track I didn't say.

Maybe my problem is dif than yours. Dunno.
Maybe I should speek Chinglish or Nipponish?

haven't had that problem, catman, but i tend to use XM or my iPod. Haven't done much CD playing, yet, but I'll definitely stay on the lookout for that issue.

Just curious . . .after giving the command "CD PLAY DISC X TRACK Y", how long have you waited? Depending which CD you're on and which CD you're going to, sometimes it takes longer to (few seconds or more) to switch CDs.

If you've waited awhile (a minute) and still no music, does changing the Track with a button (dash or center console) start the music?

I would try changing CDs with the buttons for awhile, too. Tap the CD button and then one of the presets to select the CD. See if the 'no music' situation happens again. If it does, you can be pretty certain its not the voice commands . . . its probably just a tempermental CD changer.

I've given it plenty of time.....just nothing coming out....it hasn't happened in awhile it was probably just a glitch....but I've used the buttons no problem with that at all.....just with the voice command.
