V6 Tranny Fluid Change
I decided to replace My 2010 V6's tranny fluid. The dipstick always showed a proper level (I used Honda's fluid check procedure: warm-up car, turn engine off and then check fluid).
Now I remove the ATF drain bold... No fluid drained!!! I was as if the tranny was empty even though the dipstick showed FULL.
I decided to add half a quart of ATF through the fill hole (the V6 has a separate ATF fill bolt on the top of the tranny. Still no fluid was released from the drain!
I did check in the service manual and I am removing the proper ATF bolt according to the illustrations!
Any ideas as to what's going on? No one has touched the tranny fluid before (it's the factory fill).

Disregard this... I was removing the wrong drain bolt: there is another bolt very similar to the drain bolt, on the side of the tranny. I guess I should have used my brain more, rather than follow exactly the manual's instructions. The lack of a magnet on the bolt I was removing should have clued me.
