Unresponsive, loose steering in 2G TSX
My steering becomes looser and looser as time goes on and it reaches a point where little adjustments are needed in order to keep the car going straight and not wandering all over the place. I've already brought my car into the dealer and they updated the software for the steering - this seemed to fix the problem for a few months but now it's slowing recessing back to the unstable steering. The first time it happened I did an alignment and rotated the tires but that didn't seem to fix anything.
The only mods I have are an injen CAI and progress rear sway bar.
Has anyone had this problem before?

I have a somewhat similar issue. At freeway speeds (2011 TSX Wagon, 170K miles), the car seems to require very subtle but constant corrections to keep straight. I started noticing it somewhere around 110K-120K miles, and it varies based on the quality/texture of freeway pavement and incline.
The car was at the dealer at around 125K to have a leaky axle replaced, and I asked them to test drive it and see if they can figure out the issue. Service writer stated that the tech test drove the car and did not find anything wrong with it's high speed stability or floaty steering. I asked to do an alignment with the emphasis on stability, but it did not seem to fix the problem. The car is on its 3rd set of tires, Bridgestone Turanza this time, which were installed around 105K miles. While not bad, Turanzas did not seem to be as good in terms of handling as the first two sets of OEM Michelin Pilot MXM4.
I am planning to switch to either Michelin Pilot Sport 3 A/S+ or Primacy MXM4 as soon as Costco has it next Michelin special/sale (hopefully next month). I am really hoping that this steering issue will be resolved by switching to Michelins. If not, then perhaps lower control bushing replacement will be next.

Worn out suspension components individually or collectively- shocks, springs, bushings, will give off a "floaty" feel. Shocks do not have to be blown but nearing the end of its service life will affect how a car steers and handles.

I will start with tires first, then bushings to see if this solves the steering issue. I know that shocks are worn at 170K, but OEM replacements are somewhat pricey, so I'll leave it for later.

Steering issue appeared 5-10K miles after Turanzas were installed, alignment at dealer did not appear to improve it. Unfortunately I'll can't find specs on that alignment job.
