Question TSX 2010 - Driver side rear view mirror DISTORTED reflection

Hi Acura-people,

I love my new ACURA TSX 2010... I drove my Polished Metal Metallic TSX first time just three hours ago. One thing is bothering me ... Driver side rear view mirror has slightly DISTORTED reflection on its curves-corners. I'm not saying its awful, but at least its unusual. Please let me know if it's something standart for new cars or if I gotta show it to technician at Acura Dealership?

Thanks to everyone who wants to help with a piece of advise!!!

I have the same exact issue on my '09, and I thought that it was just a defect with my car (one of many, apparently LOL)! Now I am starting to think that it just may be how the mirror is designed, to gain a slightly wider view...I say this because when I make the slightest adjustments, it seems to make a world of difference. If it were the mirror being faulty, it would look bad no matter how you angled it, right?

Yeah, my 09 has the same thing. I've noticed it a couple of times, the rest of the time I never notice it.

I just noticed this issue too! around the edges seem to be curved and make things look abnormal. I wonder if there is a TSB. Sucks that there is no source for them anymore.

Same here. Distortion around the edges. I highly doubt that Honda will issue a TSB for this. I will not even bother complaining about this...

This seems to be a "problem" on numerous cars. The same effect happens with my eyeglasses due to the large lenses and the curvature of the lens. There is probably some physics behind why the edges are distorted; ex: concave/convex mirrors, temperature, focal point position, etc.
