Trouble with Seat Memory
Trouble with Seat Memory
Hi Everyone,
Just picked up a 2011 TSX WAGON with 150k miles. My first Acura.
I am trying to program the seat memory and I am having some strange issues that maybe someone can help with.
The problem is the seat memory 1,2,Set buttons on the driver door dont light up green. They do light up white when the headlights are on, so the power to the controller seems to be working. I already replaced the seat memory fuse #2 (7.5A). Both my keys display the correct driver number when using with the car and the memory link is set to ON in the MID setup. Seat controls are working fine. If I move the driver seat it always stays in the new setting, so I do not get the behavior where it returns to some pre-programmed position when unlocking with different key, so it seems that nothing is currently programmed.
Is system just busted or is there anything else I could check?
Appreciate your thoughts,
Tom

Not sure what you're saying is the problem. The seat should go to the pre-programmed positions when you either 1) press the numbered button on the door, or 2) unlock the car with the numbered fob. But if there is no programmed positions the seat will not move with either 1 or 2. Also if the battery goes dead you will lose your programmed seat positions. So maybe there are no programmed positions in the car yet? Or is the problem that you tried to program them but they aren't being memorized?
In case this may help someone. The issue turned out to be an aftermarket driver master window control switch I replaced. The aftermarket (amazon) switch that claimed to replace OEM part number 35750-TL2-A12 disabled the seat memory features and driver window auto-up feature.
Plugging in my old switch which had a broken/intermittent button for driver window restored the seat memory functionality.
Any recommendations for a working/aftermarket driver window master control switch (OEM 35750-TL2-A12) would be welcomed. The OEM version is about $350.
Also, does anyone know if 35750-TL2-A11 (2009-2010) and 35750-TL2-A12 (2011-2014) are interchangeable?
Thanks
