Looking for any suggestions on a fix for a touch screen that is blacked out on 2005 TSX. No touch controls work now, navi, radio, climate, etc. No home screen like usual. Followed replacement of passenger door lock actuator somehow.

I have seen mention of mailing unit into alpine but it is unclear if that will fix issue. Saw mention that would still have to take repaired DVD unit into dealer to re-sync with car. It also seems strange that DVD unit would be involved with running climate and audio controls.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Even dealer said it would probably take two separate appointments to fix.
