Tigtgen Fuel Cap warning

Have a 2011 TSX and this may have been discussed before. Haven't had 1 issue in ownership. But perhaps 3-4 times over ownership, the tighten fuel cap light comes on etc. And not after filling. Been a week since then. Each time same, for no reason. will remove, retighten. may go away immediately may not. Have refilled, retightened and goes away. Just happened yeterday and probably a few months since last time. Anyone else experience this? Car starts/runs fine. Just annoying.
Whoops, tried to edit title. Tighten.......duh.

its the PCV solenoid, is an $85 part and takes about 20 min to replace. it's a known issue and is not something that'll cause damage just a malfunction Mexican made part

I read on here it happens more frequently when you try over filling your tank. I used to squeeze every last drop in and I got the message my first few fill-ups. Now I let the pump stop automatically and give it only one more squeeze until it stops again. Haven't seen the message since.

I got the warning light once randomly after the car was parked for a few hours, I just loosened, retightened, turned the car back on and it was gone. IMO, it's just one of those minor gremlins that appear once in a while. It's actually the only thing and only time I've had anything happen on the TSX after almost 2 years of ownership.

Thanks for replys. Only issue i've had with the car and goes away. Love it....fun to drive, beats the EPA numbers (which so many vehicles these days don't even come close to) getting 35 on a trip. I'll keep a watch on it. Will mention on next oil change (if i remember).. think that's in a month or so. thanks again.

I got that warning light too once. I re-tightened the gas cap and the warning went away the next day.
