Tightening of Side View Mirror

Hi -

About two years ago I had an issue with my driver's side view mirror that resulted in it being "loose" enough so objects looked quite blurry & shaky when driving down the highway or anything but a perfectly smooth road. When I was at the dealer for some other maintenance I had them tighten the mirror and the issue went away (apparently it was trivial enough for them to not bill me for it, IIRC).

Anyway, I think the problem is coming back, and I believe it's caused by me recently frequently folding the mirror when parking in tight spots. After maybe a dozen folds & unfolds objects start to look shaky in the side view mirror.

Has anyone run into this problem before? If so, is there a way of me tightening the mirror myself without having to take in the car for service? I'm hoping that I can take the bottom off the mirror and just tighten a screw, or something.

Thanks!

- Mark

the door panel on the inside has to come off slightly.
once, the door panel is off you'll see bolts to tighten the mirror.

Ah! Thanks. That's the kind of clue I was looking for. I will start there :-)
