Ive had a set of tein street basis coilovers installed for about 4 years now on my tsx. In those 4 years ive had to change the strut tower bushings all around twice now as the rubber failed (I usually change both fronts or rears if one side is damaged)
This particular coilover doesnt come with top hats, i had to reuse the OEM ones. Last time around i purchased new top hats for the fronts and replaced the bushings (lets see how long it lasts now), but it seems as though the rear passenger is now going out again. Is there something im doing wrong? why do they keep failing. I followed the diagrams for placement and torque. Is it just bad material for the rubber?
Ive actually tried several different brands like MOOG and KYB, but not OEM. However, I cant see how it would be such a drastic difference in quality. Any ideas?
