This morning I went to turn on my car and it wouldn't turn on (09 Acura TSX). The engine would turn but nothing else. I tried again and it turned on but the Check Emissions light came on then it started to flash and as i was driving it i noticed that when i stopped the car would start shaking (seemed to be coming from the driver side) and i couldn't go past 40 mph. What could be happening and approximately how much does fixing an issue like this cost? Thanks in advance to anyone that has helpful comments.

Check engine light should be on. Get codes and post them for help.

Your car is going into limp mode, it does that to prevent damage to the motor. Take it somewhere to get scanned. Could be something as simple as a sensor.
Need to know more info before we can help but I'd recommend going to a shop.

did you ever figure out the problem? did you end up replacing the axles and did that solve your issue? having a similar issue
