Ok so i just bought a pre-owned 2009 Acura TSX, runs great and all. But has one problem. My steering wheel buttons and horn do not work. I know it has to do something with electricity not going to the steering wheel. Can anyone suggest what i can replace to make everything work?

 

warranty? where'd you get the car? anything modded?

 

make sure it wasnt in an accident

 

Either the cable reel is damaged or the connectors to the buttons are not plugged in. There is a little door below the steering wheel, I would open that and check the connectors. If everything is plugged in, I would take it to the dealer - There are airbags etc that you don't want to mess with (unless you know exactly what you're doing).

 

ok thnx i will take a look and see if i can do anything myself before i can take it to the dealership.

 

Tell the dealer to check the fuse box.

 

its most likely your clock spring, located behind the steering wheel. i just replaced mine for same reasons
