Speaker feedback from 900 to 2000rpm.
Last weekend i picked up 2010 v6 tsx from my home town acura dealer in FL, i drove the car back to West Virginia and started to get feedback from the front speakers its a vibration noise when i accelcerate from 900 to 2000 rpm. It doesnt matter if the radio is on or off. the nearest Acura dealership to me in WV is 2 hours away.
.
I am trying to locate the fuse for the ELS amp to pull to see if it continues. Any one know what fuse it is? Also are the speakers blowning on thenELS normal?..

i dunno if the 2010's had it, but i think the new v6's emit a frequency that counteracts road noise or something like that, so the faster you go, the stronger it is? idk but look into that, could be a malfunction
^ it's what Acura calls "Active Sound Control". normally you can't hear it directly (that's the whole point...) but if you take the door panel off, you can feel the speakers vibrate when the system is on (it turns off when a door is open).
Suggest to check if the "feedback" it is related to the active sound control: slightly opening a door (until the car detects that the door is open) will turn off the system, so if your feedback is gone, then it's the ASC.

i have the base, so idk, but i think my 2010 base > my dads old 08 tech. have you pumped up the bass and subwoof to +6??
Bass is in the ear of the beholder. Some people like to get their trunk lid to vibrate.
The ELS is without a doubt the most accurate system in this price range - but not everyone wants accuracy.
Back in the 70's when I sold electronics, we had accurate speakers (JBL Studio Monitors, AR11a, Klipschhorns and Cornerhorns) as well as Kenwood, Pioneer and Sansui that had a very boomy base. We sold way more Pioneers than anything else (but they had cute lights on them) but that didn't make them the more accurate speaker.
