Silicon removal

I tried to use silicon to attach by rear spoiler and it didn't really work.... Any ideas of getting of the layer of silicon w/o damaging the paint? thanks in advance!

I believe u have to use 3m tape. Silicone isn't really an adhesive more of a sealant
