Side mirror not heating - TSX 2013

Hello,

My side mirror seems not to work because they stay cold while my backglass is hot when touching it.

Anyone have any issue with this?

The 40a fuse in the engine bay is fine.

Thank you for help!

If when I start my car, automaticly only one of 2 mirrors heat up without even I touch the button, WHY ???? DAMN

If I inversed the 2 wires when changing the mirrors, can it be the reason why ??

Thank you

If you reversed wires, it shouldn't make a difference. Typically, they would diode protect anything that cared about reversed voltage.

I poked about and could not find any actual 2013 TSX wiring diagrams, but on the ones I did, it was wired

Fuse

Switch

Heater

Ground

So following Thoiboi's idea, checking for voltage on the various leads should get you in the right area.

Mine come on with the rear window defogger, so cycling that on and off should cycle power to the mirrors.

Thank you for the help guys!

So in that order, My left mirror would have stop working just after I replaced the right one..

Because my right mirror and the rear windows defogger is working properly on demand..

FYI, i recently replaced my right mirror as well, but i didn't notice my left working or not before replacement.

I returned to my 2009 TSX to find the passenger mirror cracked, I see you replaced yours, how difficult was it? Is there a stick on replacement for just the mirror, I'm not concerned about it being heated, just want to be able to see in reverse? Thanks

reviving this thread..would anyone please let me know of a reliable place where I can buy the replacement glass?
I broke my passenger side mirror today after 13 years purely because of my stupidity (I was trying to get rid off those silly blind spot mirrors) :-(
