Serpentine belt, pulley issues.

I recently ordered a new tensioner assembly and idler pulley because I was starting to get a really bad whine from one or the other, so as a preventative and since I was already going to replace one I ordered both. I also ordered a new bando brand 7pk1715 serpentine belt even though at 131k miles there were still no signs of cracks or major stretching on the original belt. Tensioner and idler went on perfectly but the new belt I purchased did not want to slip over the idler pulley easily as for being way too short and when I finally got it on the tension meter on the assembly read way too much tension. I researched that belt as the right size for our car but it was not for mine. I even purchased a 1765 belt at autozone to try and it was way too long as previous posters had mentioned. Anybody else have issues similar when replacing their serpentine belt. Has anybody tried a 7pk1732 belt as it being an "in between size" from 1715mm and 1765mm?
