Second set of Rear Brake Pads 2009

Took my car in for brake flush and fill. Dealer tells me need new rear brake pads. Had the first set replaced at 39K and was reimbursed $125 via the Honda Brake Settlement. Now at 75K and had the brakes replaced (Got only 36K out of the second set.) Called Acura and they were of no help. I looked at the settlement agreement and it states "Honda may reimburse you for future Rear Brake Pad replacements." Has anyone out there been able to submit a second settlement request?

oem brakes lasting over 30k miles sounds reasonable to me. you can try to milk the settlement, but i think you're expecting too much out of your brake pads.

I disagree. Have owned several honda cars and have NEVER had to replace brakes before 50K. I spend most of my time on the highway. I am not trying to "milk" anything. Honda has admitted there is a problem with the brakes and they replaced the OEM pads with the same part.
